All our users find it very straightforward to use and can get up and running with the basics after half an hour of training, even though MotelMate is a very comprehensive software programme.
You can backup MotelMate yourself by simply copying the MotelMate folder to an external hard drive. We do offer an extra WebVault service for your MotelMate. This will automatically back up your MotelMate data to our online server every night. In the event of your machine breaking down or prolonged outage we can restore your recent data to another machine.
Yes. There are many different circumstances where you may want more than one invoice for a single booking. For example, a separate agent invoice may be required for accommodation only leaving sundry items for the guest. Or you may want to split part of the bill to a company or another guest. Anything is possible
Indeed. Company chargebacks are achieved by associating a guest record with a company record. That way the booking can remain in the guest’s name while the bill goes to their company.
MotelMate has an extensive section for creating billing on behalf of apartment owners. For each monthly invoice an accommodation amount is calculated (based on invoice or payment totals or calendar nights). Then a number of fixed and variable deductions are listed such as utilities, cleaning, commissions and tax are added to create a clearly laid out self explanatory invoice for the owner
